MVIS is the only stock I got out with a profit. I would swing trade it for a while but have been out for all AT's picks for a while. I was doing really well but should have swing traded all of his picks. Lost a little over 50K after being up more than 60K at one time before selling the rest. Learned an expensive lesson and hoping not to ever repeat again.

If they’d get bought out, we’d be banging. I guess that’s not going to happen. They’re lost earnings call was decent and gave it a pop, but not enough. I still thing it’ll hit $10 at some point.

I base that off of hopes, dreams, and tightly crossed fingers.

True, but it did swing a few times from $9 to $28 when buyout talks were hitting the rumor mill. I just need one more circle around the bowl…

The small caps and the micro caps are all like MVIS

They all topped out Feb. 19

ETA: I know IWM actually had a fake break out and topped last month but there are a ton of small and micro caps down 60-70% since Feb. which was peak crypto, SPAC, etc as well

Now I no longer feel bad about selling at $9 a while ago for a nice profit

I’m taking the loss on about half of it today. Gotta stop the bleeding. Putting it in crypto, SOL and WLUNA. I guess we’ll see if it’s a smart move, seems that those two will recover before MVIS will. So, MVIS rumor incoming…

What the hell is going on with MVIS?

The rotation to safe value is causing further EOY selloff on the growth and tech side. That said, I recently bought another 10k shares of MVIS.

Latest news:

MicroVision to Participate in LiDAR Sensor Standards Consortium

On the rumor front, there is some belief that Audi is maybe testing MVIS’s sensor, based on estimated dimensions of this new sensor slot on Audi’s latest e-tron test vehicle. Also note that MVIS’ CEO is following Audi on LinkedIn. Audi is one of the very few auto OEMs listed in his company interests section. Again, just rumors, but worth noting.

CES 2022 next month could bring the next round of news/rumors. Nothing has changed here as far as future potential valuation is concerned IMO. I’m still fully expecting $30-$50/share. There will be lots of consolidation coming in the LiDAR sector next year.

P.s. I’m not AT

I would still stay away. It could easily go sub $1 again in this macro environment and with no company specific catalysts expected anytime soon. Most likely this was a pump and dump.

I'm already sitting on a boatload of shares but I'm legit considering a double down here to get my basis down. Smart money has been buying.

I’m starting to buy again. Final U.S. Army IVAS testing takes place this month. MicroVision’s LiDAR software is on track for June. Their on track highway ADAS testing will be completed in Q2. This currently the best LiDAR value you can buy…easy double up by the end of summer IMO.

MicroVision Unveils New MAVIN(TM) Lidar Product Line To Enable High Speed Highway Safety Features

quote:

REDMOND, WA / ACCESSWIRE / June 20, 2022 / MicroVision, Inc. (NASDAQ:MVIS), a leader in MEMS-based solid-state automotive lidar and ADAS solutions, unveiled its new dynamic view lidar system, MicroVision MAVIN™ DR, a system that will enable new ADAS safety features addressing the need to see farther, with greater clarity, and respond faster to emerging situations.

MAVIN DR is the fourth lidar hardware variant from MicroVision and the first to offer a dynamic range, combining short-, medium-, and long-range sensing and fields of view into one form factor. The new sensor produces an ultra-high-resolution point cloud showing drivable and non-drivable areas of the road ahead. With its low latency point cloud (30 hertz), the MAVIN product line allows ADAS systems to respond more quickly and take action at high speeds.

"Our goal is always to provide OEMs with technology that presents the most complete and detailed picture of the road ahead. With our short-, medium-, and long-range lidar sensors combined into one hardware unit, we can provide the most comprehensive and dynamic view of the road ahead at highway speeds," said Sumit Sharma, CEO of MicroVision. "We are proud to unveil a sensor that we believe meets or exceeds OEM expectations."

In addition to the dynamic view system, the MicroVision MAVIN DR has a new hardware form factor that complements OEM design. The newly refined form factor enables even more flexible deployment options for OEMs. Built with materials known to OEM supply chains, MicroVision hardware is scalable, sourceable, and supports a lower cost structure.
