Well, under Obama's econommic plan I will get a tax cut. However, when he raises the taxes on the big corporations, my tax cut will go towards covering the costs of higher prices on goods and services.

In regards, to McCain, hell he never really laid out a concrete plan for me to judge

I don't want or need either one of them to "give" me a better income. I wish they would leave me the hell alone.

McCain. You do realize that 35% of the pop already pays 0 in taxes. So this idea of 95% getting a break isn't exactly accurate. It's more like 60%. By raising taxes of companies that make over 250k it will simply cause employers to lay people off, to offset their higher taxes. This will lead to higher unemployment and more dependence on the government. The idea of spreading the wealth is absolutely retarded.

Like most Americans, I earn my income. I think you meant to ask who would take less of the money you earn away. The problem is with deficit spending you can't give a straight answer to this. If Obama "gives" 95% of Americans more today, but that causes us to be so in debt we have to cut SS benefits tomorrow, has he really "given" that 95% anything?

We started this process 28 years ago, and it blew up recently.

And amazingly we seem poised to spend our way through the explosion. We obviously haven't hit rock bottom yet.

And that really, really bothers me. I have a major problem with the irresponsible spending that we are doing. I'll be fine, but it bothers the crap out of me that we will be passing our problems to the next generation. I hate that, and it's out of my control, which I hate even more.

Not really. I'm not on welfare, but I'm making under 12k a year at a part time job because I'm still in school. Result = pay no income tax.

Campaign promises and plans are just blind promises. Who really knows what these guys would do in office.
