I thought the same thing. Even went back to review the similar question to see if the different answer choices would give me a clue... but since all the potential answers were exactly duplicated on the similar quetsion... It just comes down to "Do I take an all or nothing approach and get both right or both wrong, or do I hedge my bets?" I chose all or nothing and from my score I'm guessing that I got nothing.

While the tests seem screwey, instructor seems to be going in after the fact and adjusting or throwing out the bad questions. Perhaps that trend will continue.

I don't really get it either. The exam was no more focused than any of the previous exams. The study guide was essentially pointless. I don't even understand why he gave us one for this week considering he's never provided one before. It's bizarre as were the 2 identical questions. Of course, that's not the first time he's done that either. I don't even think he proofreads these things.

Despite all of that, I did fine on the exam and still have a good overall grade in the course. I'm ready for this this course to be done because what we are tested on feels so disconnected from what we're told to study.

Do you think the class is pairable with MKT701? I know this is the dreaded class to not be paired...but I’d rather do assignments than writing, and would like to eliminate one of my MADM electives if I can (MADM751,752,720). MADM 752 would be the one to go

It depends on who is teaching the course, but up to this point the workload has been minimal. A good bit of common sense things in relation to casinos and hotels. I've enjoyed the course so far

How did you find FIN 701 with Vines? I can only locate the 500 course for AP1 and would really like to take 701 before the fall semester.

Definitely, a good choice taking MKT 701 by itself! The concepts were not hard, just a ton of reading and writing! I must say this course did prepare me well for MADM 760.

Go to compass.lsus.edu and don't login. Click course schedules and search from there. Fin701 is showing as full for the summer. I recommend stalking it every day to grab an opening if someone drops.

I got my "acceptance" into the program yesterday and now scheduling my classes starting in summer AP1.
I have chosen MBA in project management specialization. Here are the classes I'm scheduling together-

Summer AP1 : ACCT 701, ISDS 710
Summer AP2 : ECON 705, ISDS 715
Fall AP1 : FIN 701, MKT 701
Fall AP2 : ISDS 705, BADM 790(PI)
Spring AP1 : MADM 701, ISDS 715

Probably not a good idea to pair MKT 701 with anything, especially if James is teaching it. Also, you have ISDS 715 listed twice.

I haven't taken MKT 701 yet, but from what I have heard I would either try to take it by itself or with something a little less labor intensive. If you can try to take it with ISDS 705 because both forms of that course is not as labor intensive as FIN 701.

I can't take MKT 701 with ISDS 705 because those two not fall in the same session.

Can I take MKT 701 with ACCT 701 and FIN 701 with ISDS 710 ?
