My (unwanted) two cents' about ISDS 710:
I never like to complain to a professor or coach when I don't understand something in the course because I like to figure things out on my own. So, while I was super overwhelmed with the course during the first two weeks I dealt with it. Then with the zoom sessions, I finally understood what I was doing.
Then this morning we wake up to this ridiculousness! How is this allowed?!!
This has been the most messed up course (structure-wise) in the entire MBA program!
Thank God I graduate in December and then it will be all behind me.

I just received the SIE invite and I'm on the fence about whether or not to join. It might be something nice to put on my resume(?).

When reading through this forum, I was absolutely dreading taking James' MKT 701 course. But after finishing it I have realized that it was not that bad. She must have changed some stuff around but it was a pretty decent course. Especially compared to the crap that some of you went through with the other professors teaching 701.
Did anyone else take James' 701 course this session?

I haven't taken MKT 701 yet, but from what I have heard I would either try to take it by itself or with something a little less labor intensive. If you can try to take it with ISDS 705 because both forms of that course is not as labor intensive as FIN 701.

I am currently in Gibb's 705 and from what I can tell from this forum, his and the other 705 are completely different formats. In Gibb's, we have weekly modules where we do review questions, take quizzes, do an excel tutorial, and work toward a main project. I think in the other class there are 4 proctored exams and that is it.
Although there is more work to do each week in Gibb's class, I am enjoying it because Excel has never been my strong-suit, but this course is teaching me how to use it. And it is pretty easy. He is a very lenient grader.

I am also in the MKT 705 course, but I have not recieved anything.
Does anyone else have Gibbs as their ISDS 705 professor? There hasn't been anything posted on that page either.

I don't even see that. I may have a different professor: I have James Gibbs.

Is ISDS 705 open on Moodle? I am in the course, but I don't see anything yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I have not studied for this module as much as I would have liked. Hopefully I do not completely fail this one.
I figured out that I could make a 60 and still keep my B in the course. So *fingers crossed*, I do better than a 60.
Good luck to everyone else taking their final exams for this session! :nana:

Dr. Vines has posted the grades for Exam 3.
I thought I was going to do much better than the past two, but I almost made the same grade as before: 85. Well, at least I didn't fail it.

I am taking mine on Wednesday. And I am not looking forward to it. I did pretty decently on the first one, but I think that was just luck and lenient grading.
Good luck on the exam!
