May be a dumb question but going to ask anyway ...

MADM 701 w/Knotts. Module 2 says to post in the forum. I am not seeing where/how to do that. It says click here to post, I do, but dont see a way to actually post.

Yeah, I don't see a way to post either. I'm guessing they've forgotten to make a security change to allow student posting. I may email my TA shortly to ask about it if it hasn't changed soon.

I was looking to take MADM 760 in Spring AP2 but it looks like the class may be full. Is there a way to possibly get placed into a class if I call and speak with someone in the grad program? Thought I would ask here before calling if it is a definite no.

If getting into MADM 760 is not an option, what electives would you recommend?

So far, I have completed ECON 705, ACCT 701, and ISDS 705. Currently taking FIN 701.

Search this forum in regards to course reviews. Most have been discussed in great length outside of the new courses that have been added.

Are there any specifically you have questions about?

I must have been searching incorrectly. I found the MADM 760 class with seats open.

It is offered with Meeks or Nathan Heller. I see discussion about Meeks but not finding much on Heller. Anyone here taken Heller?

There are 2 Nathan Heller's on RateMyProfessor, both with good ratings.

Having said that, just take the Meeks course. He's one of the better professors in the program and a known quantity, so you'll be able to get advice from this forum on what's expected. His 760 class, despite being a decent amount of work, has been one of my favorite classes of the program.

Thanks. I went ahead and scheduled it with Meeks.

I can attest to and agree with both of these statements. He almost spoils you with the amount of supplemental information he provides in his course. He's a great professor no doubt

How long does it take the typical student to finish the 10 courses? Does anybody do it in 5 sessions? Does everybody? That's my plan and would love to hear anyone's experience.

Most do it within 12-20 months.

I am going to try to spread it over two calendar years so that my company will cover the bulk of the cost. Unlike undergrad, my goal is to leave this program with as little debt as possible.

I'm taking 1 class a session. I did take one session off due to a ton of work I had to catch up on. I do wish I had doubled up with ISDS 705, but early reviews seem to indicate it was a difficult course. Turns out it was not. Plus I am paying for this myself so spreading it out makes it easier to pay for.

I am also spreading mine out over 2 years. I am not in a hurry and i wanted to still have a life outside of work and school. With kids and all their sports and my Job its impossible for me to take 2 classes at a time. However ISDS705 i should have. Technically you do not have to do anything but take the 3 test which are open book an you can use the search function on the PDF book. I look for that course to change soon, it is way too easy.

It varies for each student. I am finishing in five terms (10 months). My job is paying for the entire tuition, so I had to start at the end of 2017 and finish in 2018 due to the amount reimbursed per year.

I too will finish in 5 terms, but over 12 months. I will be sitting out this Spring AP2 and finishing up the last 2 classes in Summer 1.

Everything has been manageable so far, but I'm taking MKT now and MADM in Summer and those are the two classes that are considered most time consuming, each paired with an ISDS.
