Just finished my first Proctorio exam. Am I the only one that feels like it is a pretty invasive process...?

Outside of that. The exam was straight forward. Study the module materials and you will do fine on the exam. Now on to this paper and "video diary".

FYI...the above is in reference to Knotts MADM701

Yep. Proctorio is nothing compared to Proctor U.

For Knotts, anyone else took exam? I just submitted my paper and it came back with 0% similarity score, I went in and adjusted filters and it went up to 6%. I'm working on the reflection project now, well at least typing out what I want to say. Kind of nervous about the paper because I chose work experience and it was a little tough to follow the rubric.

@joeskee see my response above. added an fyi.

Also, looks like they have added courses/seats for AP2. I was able to register for the two classes I want. ISDS 705 with Gibbs and MADM 715 with Wren. For the vets, let me know if you think this isn't a good pairing.

Cool, how many questions? I took ISDS 705 with Lin and regret that I didn't pair it with another class. Had family and work demands that term but IT is my field and on top of that, you can use the book during exams and all you had to do is search the book for answers. I did learn quite a bit from the Management side of the house and have been able to apply that knowledge to my job. Really forces you to look at IT decisions from a business view instead of a technical view, which happens to be my role.

Just registered for my AP2 classes. I'm pairing ISDS705 with MADM730.

Anyone have any experience with Sanjay Menon for International Business (MADM730)?

As an aside, many thanks to the regulars on this board who pointed out that ISDS705 (Lin) is a very pair-able course.

Question - So the tech specs say I need at least 300gb. Looking at a new laptop with a SSD and wondering if it’s worth it to jump from 256 to 512 just for the program.

Absolutely no reason whatsoever that you need a 300GB HD to do anything in this program.

Literally anything. ISDS 705 requires minimal effort. I took it solo last term and felt like I wasn't even enrolled in classes.

I agree that it's a crime to take ISDS 705 by itself. There is no workload. Just the couple hours to take 3 exams.

Be careful with ISDS 705.. A friend looked into it for next term and the instructor may have changed?

WDE

Got onto the moodle for Wren. It still has the August version of the class visible. A ton of busywork. I don't mind a lot of work. I actually enjoy the rigor. But, I despise busy work.

TDragon:

I am signed-up for MADM730 also. I have not found much on Menon. His vitae is impressive. Don't know anything about the class, though.
