I won't be surprised if it comes back up some by the end of today. AAPL is killing me though.

I still think tech stocks are trading way above their value, which is why I haven't plunged in head first yet.

But we'll be fine

AAPL and AMZN have a long way to go, still over priced.

AMZN especially. 85 times earnings? What the frick?

AAPL needs to get to a P/E of around 8 for me to dive in.

I'd like to thank Cramer for creating some panic amongst the sheep

P/E of 15 is historically pretty average. I'm in at 72 so I'm just going to hold it and reinvest the dividend. I hopefully won't need any of the money that I have in the market for years.

I started a thread on here about 6 months ago regarding my concern over slowing iPhone sales. That's AAPLs primary revenue source.

I like AMZN long term but I agree that it's too expensive.

selling hasn't crossed my mind. However, I didn't take enough profits with my tech stocks so I don't have enough cash sitting around to DCA. As a result I'm struggling to find an entry point

Highly doubt you’ll get your buy then. I don’t see AAPL trading at half the market’s valuation. Will probably carry close to market valuation at any given point.

He basically just reasoned through all the things that could rescue the market, and how it's not going to happen this year, so most of what you like today, will be cheaper in Jan or Dec. Not really a hardline position.

I'll still buy it at 10-12, because I think that's fair, I just won't get get greedy until it's undervalued.

And today he'll probably tell people it's time to buy.

Six months from now he'll replay the video of whichever of his predictions was correct and not mention the other prediction.

It's definitely odd. But I'm not complaining.

It feels like a pretty normal correction to me.

One thing that makes it seem worse is the stock market level itself. Down 575 looks terrible but it's only 2.3% which isn't a huge selloff historically.

A lot of mutual funds have reported to pay pretty large cap gains here at the end of 2018. Most of those cap gains gonna come from the tech sector too. It’s definitely justified.

All I need before I go all-in the market is to see two more threads on here like this one.

"The time to be greedy is when others are fearful."
