Lets play a game..

I'm sure many of you have done this before at work or just for fun but lets say you have $10,000 to invest in 5-10 stocks for the rest of 2015 which stocks would you pick? This isn't with real money just a finance major doing a semester long project and wanted to see what some older and wiser guy/gals would pick.

I did same project for my undergrad. Loved the assignment and actually won a SBUX gift card from the professor. I would diversify and it's not always about the fancy stocks. Will you have to write a summary on each stock and why you chose it?

I assume that leveraged ETFs are off the table, and ETFs in general my be off limits for the project as well.
If it is a constest based on returns, then oil would be a solid place to start. There is no reason to protect against losses with fake money, so jump in head first.

Not a summary just have to pick stocks and track it throughout the semester.
