BMW 528 - A slightly used model. I was young and had to show that I was "successful". Not worth the money.
IKEA furnitures - flimsy cheap shite.
PCs - always get viruses or breakdown. Got my first Mac 2 years ago and it's still going strong.

My first Jeep...and my second...It was all downhill from there.

The list of things I regret not buying is much longer than the list of things I regret buying...
Things I regret buying would probably include:
A couple cheaply made watches
A couple movies that I'll never watch
A couple penny stocks that were just a stupid waste
Nothing really big though. I do a lot of research before buying most things.

At this point, I regret very little. Life is too short to be filled with regrets, purchases, especially so.

I kinda regret buying my house when I did because it only tied us down and caused us to hesitate when the opportunity to relocate came up and then we never left

My house. I miss the freedom of renting and living in a happening area. I don't hate my house, I just hate the lifestyle change it represents.
As far as bad purchases:
Roomba - works well, but broke down and got a cleaning lady 6 months later.
bowflex adjustable weight Dumbbells and workout bench - these made me realize I can't workout at home. They also cost about $650.
A nice Tag Watch - wore it a lot when I got it, but don't wear a watch any more because it lends itself to rudeness in meetings.

I bought some expired yogurt the other day but other than that,
The first engagement ring
Two pairs of second hand Luchesse boots that don't fit
A pair of Italian Loafers I bought in Capri because I was in Capri
An Ipad
ETA: A freaking Kayak--I knew I'd hate it when I bought it

I also letting my wife talk me into buying an Xbox 360 w/ kinect. I knew she wouldn't use it, but she promised she would use and it would fun.
Its been collecting dust for 4 years now.

UGAZ - Past 12 months
CMKX - Penny stock in college
20k ford truck about 6 years ago when i wasn't making much money. sold it after 6 months for a 2k hit.
Overall no huge mistakes. Now I live frugal as frick and am investing over 50% of my salary. Trying to retire by 40.
