Essentially the creator of index funds. He was often on CNBC. Good man.

Great man. You can make a pretty good argument that he's done more for the middle class than almost anyone else ever has.

Agreed. He was always entertaining and enlightening when he was a guest on Squawk. He’d have Joe Kernan cracking up laughing.

Cantankerous heart transplant survivor who democratized investing. Gave us middle class investors a tool not previously available and eventually saved many of us from our own demise. Individual stock picking is inherently disastrous to your portfolio. Ask any “honest” professional stock picker or Warren Buffet if you run into him.
