Is gamecoin still a thing

I know that the economy is in the shite tank but a year ago every swinging Richard in Baton Rouge was slobbering all over this. Is it even alive anymore?

I have a very different recollection of the local reaction to gamecoin. I think except for the few suckers who bought into the Moscona hype train most people recognized it as a shitcoin right away.

It’s still around but everyone has figured out it’s a scam, Moscona is a moron, and Mahler is a con man.

Yep, Moscona is still all in on the scam, he’s hosting a GameCoin AMA soon to talk about the platform that they still haven’t delivered over a year after launch of the coin.

How is it a scam because people panic sold during the switch? How is it a scam when millions have been poured into getting a platform out in a year.

It’s a scam because:
1. No platform exists and may not ever exist.
2. The founders have never been publicly disclosed,
3. The founders and Moscona won’t dox their wallets so we can know if they’re pumping and dumping (which always means they are)
4. It’s set up as an LLC instead of a nonprofit.
5. The white paper is a joke, is just buzz words and contains no math.
6. They delete and block anyone who asks legitimate questions.

I mean, if we're defining scam as a bad idea put together by a group of know-nothings, then sure, call it a scam. I don't think it was ever an intentional rug pull, but it sure isn't going anywhere now.
