Sure. As a business owner you should seek out everything you are entitled to. There is no shame whatsoever in that.
But it's what you are entitled to. Not what you fraudently take.

How many clients have you completely lost because of this?
I know a lot of people have lost clients because they say the client doesn't qualify, and then these fraud mills say they do, and now the client is pissed off at the CPA and leaves.

You see it everywhere bc you don’t understand the term. Whataboutism is referring to inconsistent application of rules - “the president had confidential documents in his possession and is being indicted for it - well what about the previous president who did that and wasn’t tried for it?”

It was a huge scam. Companies got into the game including law firms saying that basically everyone was eligible. May of these firms were charging 15-22 % of calculated ERC.

Yes seems every other week I get mail on filing ERCs from various firms, for a company I closed down last year.

Ive been sitting in shite for decades and now i need electrical work. ill fix the electrical and keep the sewage pumping on my floor.
