That is a rapid increase, but it should have been raised sooner.

I used to look forward to my “raise” every year around July or August. Now it’s September or October.

Would make sense if it were the same as the COLA for recipients. However, the limit is outpacing COLA in an attempt to justify "fixing" the system.
