So space X may have a valuation of 2 trillion with 2025 revenue of 16 billion. Amazon has market cap of 2.38 trillion with 2025 revenue of $716.9 billion. Somebody explain that to me.
You’re buying a MOAT and future growth
SpaceX is so far ahead of the competition and heavily protected by IP and the massive capital required to grow and compete in their industry. Market is essentially locking them in as the winners in space for near and long term
Decent chance it actually falls on IPO though as the price may get out of hand unless they get approval to go into indices immediately. If they get approval into QQQ immediately, it will drive requisite buying that will maintain the $2T valuation

I read something along the lines of that they were gonna change the rules for SpaceX, and it was gonna immediately be added to some indices? I’ll have to go back and find that and post it later.

here is is:
Nasdaq has approved a "fast entry" rule, effective May 1, 2026, enabling massive IPOs like SpaceX to join the Nasdaq-100 index within 15 trading days, provided they meet top-40 market cap requirements. Expected to go public around June 2026 with a potential $1 trillion valuation, SpaceX's inclusion would force automatic buying from index funds, with similar fast-track rules being considered by S&P Dow Jones and FTSE Russell.

Not a fan this is how we enable bubbles

The fact this concept has become such a popular strategy to pump stocks in recent years should cause concern.
Next you just need to ensure the funds go into retirement accounts so they can’t be sold for decades …then we’re really cooking.
