I have been as bullish on NVDA as you can be for a bit now, but even I am not that optimistic. But we can dream!

Up ONLY 6% after hours

Earning call going very very well.
Forecast rev 28bil. shatters estimates.
Beat estimates on eps and revenue.
Raised dividend from .04 to .10 per qtr.
10/1 split.
Sales up 262% yoy

I didn’t think I’d want to buy more at these levels but I’m starting to think we have a lot of runway ahead of us.

At some point they will be unable to keep up with demand and growth will have to slow. Since they will be unable to actually produce the hardware.

TSMC is not going to give them 100% of their production.

Or their margins will continue to expand.

They are already using Samsung and have been in discussions to use Intel Fabs IIRC.

They have an entire industry by the balls for the short to intermediate term. I can’t believe they don’t exercise crazy pricing power when there isn’t a real alternative and investment levels can’t slow down in the AI arms race.

Highest market cap in the world by end of year? It seems likely at this point. The only question is how soon they'll have competition. I'm out of my depth talking tech but my impression is that their ecosystem for development is as important as the GPUs themselves. Competitors will eventually catch up with the technology but the stickiness of their environment has to be the x factor long-term.

Neither Intel or Samsung have the capabilities of TSMC. They may be able to produce older designs there, but in the hardware race that's a pretty small window of usefulness.

Eventually the hardware will be a race to the bottom. They still have the software lock in, but big players are encroaching there.
