I think you are correct. He spends quite a bit of time on here trying to repeatedly beat his chest each time the stock fails to sky-rocket.
I'm assuming he is trying to convince himself that not getting in will ultimately be justified. I would like to see his reaction if this stock soars past $20 in the next few days.

Another after hours slide that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I see no reason this stock shouldn't go over $20 by the end of the week. Decisions will have to be made on Friday afternoon.

I love how guys like that preach the fundamentals of investment strategy, yet completely ignore how this stock is not trending wildly upwards as fundamentals would suggest.
I completely understand that this is a terribly volatile stock right now, which should deter anyone with an ounce of fundamental investment strategy. But, I just can't ignore the volume of sales on top of the shorts as an indication that this thing should trend upwards again soon. And, even if I hang on too long, I don't doubt that AMC could recover back into a stable company if they've played their cards right during this hysteria. It's not as over priced as GME.

I like ur input on this. Gives me some hope that tomorrow and Friday could be good. If it gets to 17-20 I’m cashing in.

Honestly, I'm not completely sold on either side of the argument. It's literally a crap shoot at this point, after GME changed the game. The suits are getting slicker by the day.
I got 100 shares of AMC around $3/share just after lockdown, because I just love to gamble on a big, dying brand with some upside (especially when they were being left for dead by way of a rare pandemic). I've bought more after seeing the market move around and seeing the hysteria. I, like you, will probably be looking for that $20 mark to cash in - regardless of the other noise. And, that money will not go into another pump and dump - I'll spread that around some up and comers.
I got PLUG around $4/share after lockdown, too, just to emphasize the fact that I'm not a newb that just follows the hysteria.

Looking good pre-market. Maybe today is the day!

What am I missing for you to like the premarket?

The next two days may tell us a little more about the affect of all these short sellers on the price. I expect them to hit this hard (short ladder attack) but I can see a nice recovery close to lunch and beyond. This is just my opinion.

Well... it was over 10 when I posted that. Damn

Which fundamentals are you looking at that suggest the stock price should be going up?

I'm still holding. Still strapped in for the ride and having fun.
Haven't put in more than I'm willing to lose. My two quick SLV and HEXO trades in the past few days have me playing with house money.

Sales volume is through the roof and brokers are continuing to lift buying restrictions.

Ah....those things aren't fundamentals in the traditional investing sense. When we talk about looking at the fundamentals, it's referring to specific economic data on the company itself, not the trends in buying/selling, which is why I was confused.

I guess I just don't understand the end game for these guys. Are they just going to hold these stocks in perpetuity? The game has changed. At some point it's going to be right to sell and take profits. I would wager that for both this stock and GME that time is in the rearview.
I asked myself the same question
You have to sell to get the money

Yes, notice that I made a distinction between fundamental investment strategy and market fundamentals.

I must have missed it. Here's what I'm seeing.

I'm also not sure how "sales volume", or a lot of shares being bought and sold, would indicate the price should be going up. You can have high volume with more sales of the stock and it goes down (See: GME, AMC)
