So are they getting out because they're idiots following Portnoy or are they getting out because they're following idiots following Portnoy?

I’m not much better than you are. I have 230 shares that im holding and flipping calls on. So far itbeen decent. Flipped them 3 times now for a little over $300. Helps ease the pain some. I’ll keep going until I get called.

i actually think the hedge funds will make it an initiative to destroy the share value of every public call that Dave makes

People may get mad reading this but I would like to share my dumbass experience.

Bought 40 shares yesterday at opening at around $16.13
Immediately goes down to $13-14
Sold this morning at $6.12 because I didn’t want to ride this train all the way back down to $2
Immediately shoots up to the $8 range

I have no idea what I’m doing.

ok can someone please explain to me why some of you are riding it out?

this should never have been a play for anything over $10 and really that was a little late. Everyone on here should have sold @ $14 plus for a solid gain.

i do not understand how anyone could have lost money on this or gme unless you are falling for the WSB BS of having diamond hands. frick GME you could have bought in at a outrageous price of $150/share and still trippled your money.

I like that subreddit, but yall need to understand while they are saying that on there, they are selling you there shares in the background.

Would not surprise me if they are selling shares at a loss to drive price down to cover any remaining short positions they have

Everyone has a limit man. You had a plan it didn’t go like you thought so you got out. Who knows where the trade is going to end. Sure we can make educated guesses but doing what you did is akin to selling “too early” on the way up. Hindsight isn’t luxury we have in the markets especially when technical analysis and fundamentals are put to the side like it was done here. I’m still holding a bag as well just one that I was willing to lose.... and right now i lost about28% of it

I didn't get in on GME but did on AMC and the only reason I'm sticking with it is because it was my stimmy monies that I wasn't doing anything with and it's not going to break the bank.....

Guys like us better not try to do this too often. I lost 400 bucks on the AMC thing. 90% of my investments are in pretty decent mutual funds.

I will say that my decistion to just copy AT has paid off handsomely with a very small amount of money.
