Alright you wizards, what's the next stock that's going to do this?

there are more plays out there from what I understand but nothing will be of this magnitude like AMC. This is a once in lifetime money play.

Uh... just like GME a few weeks ago would be once in a lifetime? Or GLSI a few months before that? Weird bro

I don't know about that. GME let the cat out of the bag. The more publicity these things get, the more likely they are to happen again.

Too many restrictions in place to allow them to get this much upside down. Too put it mildly, if they go after another stock like they did AMC and GME, they would have their punk card pulled pretty quickly.

Well, TLRY and BB may be good ones but who knows if they will be this good. They aren't shorted as much as AMC and GME.

its good to know at the very least 280K followers on Stocktwits AMC page know to hold this MF way past 1000 and 10K. I am willing to bet the amount of lurkers on on that page is much more than actual watchers.

Not a stock, but once this one is done I would assume a lot of folks are gonna buy Crypto.

AMC has launched a new platform on its website just for its new retail investors. The platform provides these shareholders with exclusive promotions, like free or discounted items and invitations to special screenings, as well as direct communications with CEO Adam Aron. Aron and AMC plan to donate $50,000 to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund — a clear nod to these new investors, who call themselves apes and refer to Aron as “Silverback.” AMC also has shifted its communication style to speak directly with shareholders via social media, including YouTube. Aron has even taken a renewed interest in Twitter, “following” hundreds of accounts tied to the “ape army.”

Aron is playing this beautifully. When you still need to raise a shitload of capital, play to egos/mission of the people you need to keep the price up.

I dont think Aron is an ape like I originally thought. The book still out on him.

Yeah don’t think that was his point - he simply read the tea leaves that it would have failed. His biggest problem is that current holders are not interested in what’s best for AMC long term, so he’s got to milk everything he can from them now. He’s done that pretty masterfully IMO.
I’d be selling the hell out of shares here if I were AMC management. Who could blame them for selling something at a market price that is significantly higher than fair value. Hell, long-term shareholders should welcome it.

Debatable. If that additional dilution gets them solvent long term or position them for new and major revenue streams, yes, but it would likely just be pushing out the inevitable crash, unless they drastically adjust their business model.

It will soon enough if you just hold.

Squatch believes in a conspiracy theory that has AMC stock taking down the entire global economy before it skyrockets to a market cap larger than the total US stock market and the fed prints money just to pay AMC shareholders after all of the hedge funds have been bankrupted. Sounds reasonable doesn't it?
