I get that people feel priced out of GME and are looking for the next best thing because of FOMO, but AMC isn’t shorted anywhere close to GME. What’s the deal here then?

I just put in an order for AMC for a few grand mostly for the lulz and just to be part of the fun. If I make or lose a few hundred bucks I don't really mind.

I'm not a financial advisor but what I can tell you is that this one has hit $20 on Wednesday and has a potential to surpass that. Lots of folks think this could potentially sky-rocket.
Take that as you may and make your own decision. Good rule of thumb is to put money in that you are willing to lose. Yes it's kind of a gamble at this point.

Yeah I don’t really understand why supposedly today is the key day to hold for a squeeze next week.
I don’t think I want to hold over the weekend though. Too much time for any kind of news to drop and screw things up. I can see what it does early PM Monday.

they plan on selling more stock as a fund raiser while the price is high. normally this hurts the stock, but with the squeeze on who knows
