Anyone here remember Hi-Crush?
They had a wild ride during the 2010s frac sand boom before the corporate restructuring and eventual 2020 bankruptcy.
Did anyone here ever invest in them or heard of any wild stories from investing in HCLP?
Seems like I remember it having a large regional bias as the headquarters were in Houston.
I imagine some here have heard stories of people either hitting it big and/or some losing their a**

Wasn’t Hi-Crush bought out by Atlas a year or two ago?
Atlas built this conveyor/rail from Loving County, TX across the border into New Mexico, for the purpose of transporting sand. It’s actually helped some in not having so many sand hauler trucks on the main roads within that area, which improves safety.
The sand and water haulers as a whole can be the most dangerous drivers in the basin. It’s gotten better since the 2014-2019 timeframe, though.
