$100k BTC means a lot more to overall crypto. That’s why I’m celebrating
The truth is, crypto has pretty much yet to do ANYTHING.
Meanwhile, AI actually is causing actual disruption just 2 years after the release of Chat GPT. Bitcoin is now pushing, what, 17 - and what do we really have to show for it?

I have a nice chunk of change to show for it

Think it will run early this morning? Wondering thoughts on buying more first thing or letting this initial morning opening bump settle some?
And any reason people chose MSTX instead of MSTU as the 2x etf?

I trade both. Purchase MSTU at $61. MSTX at $35. After MSTU showed out, it was cheaper for me to add to MSTX.
Both do exceedingly well for me in calls sold.

The inherent value of Bitcoin comes from its decentralized nature, limited supply (21 million max), and secure blockchain technology.
It acts as digital gold, offering a way to store and transfer value without relying on banks or governments.
Its value also grows from increasing adoption and its potential as a hedge against inflation.
You can continue to recycle arguments that have been around since it was trading at $500 or you can open a book and take a deep dive.
Don't let your ego stop you from learning new things.

Got it. Thanks. So mostly based how many shares you could get for your money. They seem to move roughly the same so just wanted to make sure there wasn't some odd difference one had that made either a worse option than the other.
Im looking at these as more day/swing trades as I keep an eye on what I have in MSTR already. Also 2 short ETFs (SMST and MSTZ) to counter when the situation calls for it.

So looks like this happened, so glad I held out. People just taking mstr profits?

I hope you all lose everything and have to beg for food on a street corner

What's the best/easiest exchange or way to buy bitcoin these days?
I'm sure there are new and better ways to buy it since the last time I bought.

Can't tell you the best, that's based on how in depth you want to be, but the easiest is Coinbase or a similar easy entry app

Are people confident these days keeping it on Coinbase or is everyone transferring it over to a leger or similar cold storage?
Posted on 12/6/24 at 12:19 pm to DukeSilver
If you have a large stack, cold storage is always best. However, I'd say at this point Coinbase is grown big enough that if I had less than say $50k or so I'd leave it there. If something happens to Coinbase, the entire market is fricked for a significant period of time. Would make the FTX debacle look like a tiny little blip

You cashed in?
I have a small position in BTC. But I have 4 positions tied to it. 3 are Divi and 1 is a 2x ETF.... MSTX.
I still own it all, but the calls sold was a lot of $$$.
