Obviously you can't read or you did't go back far enough! Quote: DHYG asked> About his land in 021 22N 9W in Bossier Parish...ShaleGeo says: DHYG. I have heard the well at Caddo Pine Island has the zone in it so they are marching your way!
ShaleGeo also states in another message>>Most confirmed shale to my knowledge is in Caddo Pine Island in 20N.

I still cannot figure out why you are so dead set against it past 20N. Did you just sell a bunch of land up there for pennies, or something of this nature. Damn, fella, lighten up a little!

I am new on this Haynesville Shale discussion so bare with me. Me and my family own 15 acres in Sarepta. Any idea if this area will eventually be in the Shale mix?

Yes, I believe you will be. However, as you will find, I, along w/ a few others will be severely refuted about my opinion. Believe what you will. Good Luck!

I do know a guy that works for XTO in Cotton Valley and they are trying to expand the CV zone around there.

Since you still live in Plain Dealing, there's a better chance you can't read. Jay the geologist, needs to check his facts because the only wells in that field that have shown shale are in 19-15. The Franks and Muslow wells...don't know which is which but one is drilled by Samson and one by Nadel-Gussman.

Ha! Ha! PB....You have anyone looking at your 5000acres of Haynesville sand up here? We still have new companies inquiring everyday! That stuff must be pretty good if they have that kind of interest?

We probably were educated at the same place. There is interest all over up there, it's just for the CV. If someone were really interested, they would contact the largest landowners/leaseholders first and we haven't been contacted. Unless they are just out your way (Mott, Carterville area).

Flop...PB is dead set against it going past 20N because if it does he has lost all the credibility he thinks he has. He has been preaching that from the beginning.

Flop has said the offers have been coming for three weeks now. Who's lost the credibility? Everything I've said since the get-go has been true. Like I said earlier, some folks may pay you some big money, but that won't make the HS magically appear.

There's nothing to cry about with the Cotton Valley. You can hit it big with the CV as well.
