I'm trying to set up a Fidelity Investments online brokerage account. I have to pick a core position.

Anyone have some guidance on the pros and cons of each choice?

That isn't one of the choices that I can see.

The differences in those 3 core positions is negligible. Not worth your time thinking about it.

With that being said, mine is SPAXX

Everything I came up with agrees that the difference is less than negligible. I chose SPAXX and rocked on.

Thanks.

I have Fidelity and have my money in this one. Low expense ratio.

Some folks don’t understand that a Fidelity core position account is just a money market account where you park cash from sales or that you are waiting to use for purchases. They should rename it to avoid confusion.

If you have cash on the sideline, you should park it in a HY Savings account earning far more than any of these positions. If you have to keep it in the Fidelity account, like others have said, the benefits are negligible.
