Looking for someone good in Baton Rouge and NOLA as I near retirement.
I am not an OT Baller, but not too shabby either.
I want to discuss timing of drawdowns, investment strategy, etc.
Have run a lot of numbers on Boldin and other platforms, I just want someone to lay eyes on it and help me see anything I am missing.
Recommendations?

Not looking for percentage based fees. I want a pure fee for service. The load with Chase is too high to justify.

Smart to go fee-based.
I am a DIY’er. Used Fidelity (free) and Vanguard (free) to confirm / validate our longevity risk, sequence of returns risk mitigation plan, RMD reduction and income strategy.
Much of it was confirming what I already knew with a couple of exceptions. Was more than solid for what we needed.
Interviewed a couple of AUM % FA’s and shut that down fast. Cost / value did not make sense.

I have run a lot of simulations on Boldin. Like you, I just want someone to verify my plans.
Plus, I recognize that no one is as smart as I think I am, including me, so it is always good to get input, even on stuff you think you know.

Learn how to maximize AI. Even the big brokerages charge a 1% fee which on $1 million equates to paying them damn near $1000/month.
Biggest waste of money in 2026. Not sure how they still exist.
