The ones that predicted the housing bubble at the time were called batshit crazy because builders were building away and many were shocked.

That being said, Schiff has been predicting a pretty major crash for a few years now. And he's routinely laughed at for it.
The same thing happened with the 2008 crisis.
Will he be right? Who knows. Maybe, maybe not. But it's pretty ignorant to dismiss what he has to say simply because of who he is.

Well, if anyone posting in this board is delusional enough to think this is not the same exact hole as the poli board. Think again.
There are very few, intelligent, gentlemen in discussion here. Just the same pimple-faced wanna be lawyer or finance-whiz college kids, wanting so bad to be in a cool clique of disrespect and low-standards. That they think they know it all; playing economists and lawyers on a message board.

Not you. But there is a small pack of them. And I am not naming screen names no need they are obvious on this and the poli board. ALSO: I disagreed with wiki's bit coins stuff but I respected his will of concept and point of view. Some act so superior and arrogant on these boards I'd slap their faces IRL. And I doubt grown men act like this, on here or in IRL.

You know how frustrated you get with Rex's absolute refusal to accept reality, we feel the same about Wiki. And some of us have the financial industry/education background to speak intelligently on the bitcoin subject as well the economic subject in your OP.
