For those that retired early, how did you manipulate your ‘income’ to lower the cost of Obamacare? Is there any solid ways to do this?

Another word for manipulate income is commit fraud.

You can pull from Roth contributions or sell taxable investments (only gains are considered for MAGI not basis).
This and tax optimization is why having a mix of assets in pre tax/post tax/ and taxable buckets is useful.
You might even borrow against your assets or take a larger distribution in one year in order to fund future low income year(s) iot qualify for ACA subsidy.

Roth assets don't count towards your MAGI. The best trick is to exhaust all of your savings first, then start draining your tax deferred accounts but only up to the limit for getting a good Obamacare subsidy. For anything above that, use your Roth assets.
I had an easier ride than that because I lost my job during the Covid era and I got two years of Obamacare for free thanks to your favorite uncle Joe.
Now, after taking four years off, I am starting a new job tomorrow, so I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Don't you own an entire healthcare network? Why do you need Obamacare?

Retired early but still making very good money from real estate investments. Do not have an answer.
