$DXYZ - like $VCX with a larger float

Some of you may have seen $VCX take off this past week. IPO’d Thursday. It’s a private venture portfolio featuring companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, SpaceX, etc. Publicly traded - same concept as the recent Robinhood $RVI, but better holdings.
Market found $DXYZ yesterday/today. Up a decent amount but not a lot compared to $VCX. $DXYZ has a lot of similar stocks in its portfolio as VCX. SpaceX is the number 1 holding with exposure to Anthropic and OpenAI and EpicGames among other juicy private companies.
NAV is key to these stocks much like a SPAC, but NAV floats over time. NAV for VCX is ~$19, NAV for DXYZ is ~$20. VCX is nearly $500 right now, while DXYZ is $30. For this reason, DXYZ presents a huge value. We expect IPOs of these private companies to set a higher value for them, resulting in NAV increasing in these venture funds. SpaceX IPO news today, and Anthropic and OpenAI should be right behind it.
Anyway buy DXYZ
Edit: I note the larger float bc you shouldn’t expect as much squeeze from DXYZ. Takes a lot more buying to move it. But should still see significant upside if VCX continues

Why not. I have enough bb88 gains to play with

why is it trading at a discount to VCX?

VCX IPO’d last week. IPO momentum. But DXYZ is a sympathy play

Stumping for this one a bit more. I added in $27 range - I think it dropped for a gap fill on VCX dropping, but SpaceX IPO will get this moving.
They ended their quarter so they will update their holdings and NAV soon. Probably in 2 weeks. I expect NAV to be $22+ soon
Edit: FWIW, I’ve done some updated NAV calcs with Gemini. Including new valuations for the various AI companies in the fund including OpenAI and Shield AI, plus Anthropic addition to the fund, plus SpaceX / xAI IPO valuation at $1.75T, Gemini has NAV at $28.73, slightly below current market price $28.40. That would imply paying 0% premium for the private companies in the fund.

SpaceX now targeting $2T IPO valuation
New NAV estimate (by Gemini)
$29.88

And we’re back
Popping for 8.5% right now, over $31. Got my average below $28 in last few weeks

It’s just me here, but Anthropic is reportedly seeking a $900B valuation with new investors. This up-round if it goes through would raise DXYZ’s investment nearly 5x, and NAV would be $43/share based on my calcs with Gemini
I still think DXYZ is a massive value for the chance to get into these companies ahead of the general market at a reasonable price. The markup and fees are way lower than other private investors are paying to get into these companies

I got in for SpaceX too, but the Anthropic value may end up being much bigger than SpaceX

This thing is cooling. Wish I would have invested more at $39 but I did add today.
