Did you get an email notification? I haven't, and I just checked my account and it's all still a bunch of zeroes in my SEC lending account with Schwab. Guess I'm not as lucky.
I wonder how they choose, or if it's just random computer selection. Hopefully mine will be lent out soon again.

Yes I got an email notification. Interest rate is only 2% so there must not be that much demand.

What interest rate did they start off with?

I’m with Schwab. Mine are 100% lent at 2% so I get 1%. Received email notification.

Ouch! far cry from 14-15.5% they were giving in '21

Yeah it was a nice little bump every month for sure

I wonder how they determine whose shares get loaned out.
Mine have been 100% loaned every day for the past probably 2 years. Rate is only like 2-3% but still.

When I talked to Schwab share lending about it several years ago, they said there was no rhyme or reason as to what shares got selected. I also noted the next day at that time all my shares loaned out.

Is there a minimum amount of shares/price needed to be lent out?

Blocks of 100 shares, to match puts and calls

That's a sweet pic of an Albermarle bag they have on that article.

All of my SLI shares were lent out today via Schwab.
Do you guys have to do something to get this to happen or they just chose you out of a hat?

You have to sign up for the shared lending program with your broker. If you aren’t certain how to do it call your broker and they can help you out.
If you mean how do they chose who in the lending program is chosen I’m not certain. I think it’s random. Since we dipped below $2 a couple years ago my mine haven’t been loaned out. Prior to that I was getting a nice little cash deposit into my account each month from the lending.
