Would not be surprised if that FID for phase 1 ends up being a no go

That's not necessarily a bad thing. I asked awhile back since current management looks like they will be late to the party, why not go directly to the higher lithium east Tx brine formation and maximize the investment with higher recovery rates.

Brownfield vs greenfield project.

Time to market is WAY quicker with Lanxess project. If both broke ground today, Lanx project would be selling lithium 1-2 years faster.

Market is closed Monday for Martin Luther King Day.

Been racking my brain for reasons to have the call at market close and all I got is, maybe they didn't want Mike and his friends to spook the market with the negative outlook they're gonna give him

So they have indeed started the dilution process.
Raised about $3.6M on 1.6m shares.
Nov 17 - Dec 31

So with the dilution news that gives everyone here the impression it’s going below $1 and getting delisted now. Is that really more likely than this getting back in the $3-5 range this year?

ETA seeing that release gave me the impression the dilution is already baked into the current share price. Is it not?

I don't know much about this stuff, so chug salt accordingly.

I understand that you don't want to dilute when your share price is low, so the fact that they diluted at $2.16 makes me think they don't see the share price exceeding that in the near future. (Unless end of year created urgency for whatever reason?)

Then I thought, "Hey, maybe they've done the damage up front for the entire $50M offering. And this share slide we've seen is a result of them diluting for the $50M. Price hurts but if they got the $50M out of the pain, then great. Damage done and price can recover."
Instead, this damage has been done and all we've gained is $3.6M of the $50M available to them.

They're hitting milestones (slowly) and not dropping devastating PRs in the meantime, so I'm sticking around for now. Granted, it would be a whole lot easier to wait in this boat if the captain had ever proven his ability to find the shore in the past. Nothing personal, I've received infinitely more grace in my life than I deserve, but I also wouldn't trust me to run this company

It sure has been a long month without PR, but I'll take it over another nauseating fluff about the company's super duper positioning in the Smackover. On to that royalty decision, hopefully. And Mike's intel

I didn't think they'd do it at $2.16 a share if they were close to announcing partnership. Makes me think they aren't as close to announcing anything and royalty may be a bigger snag than hoped

Yes exactly. It was my understanding they were looking for any means of raising capital in a non-dilutive way. So that tells me they decided against borrowing money (which I can understand at this point), they have no current partnership offerings, and the grant offering is still too far to reach.

My biggest concern is starting to become what does this company actually own? If I was to buy this company out what am I actually getting? They lease a lot of stuff and their patent doesn’t hold much ground anymore.

Hopefully Mike has something of value to add for us. Otherwise we can form our own tiger droppings class action suit
