First I hear of this. They gonna break ground before FID? If they were confident I guess they could and purchase long lead time items. But they still need detailed design, packages , bids , contractors etc.
That can very well be going on in the background but I haven’t heard of any of it.
Jan 2024 was the timeline I had in mind.

Looks like lower prices and "buying opportunities" are back. I'm holding out for low or even sub $2. Too much going on with economy, Ukraine, Israel etc.

Bad time to be in lithium companies. Probably good time to get in though.
Looking back at my short term catalysts I forgot to mention one in my last big post.
The other event I forgot to mention probably falls in the "4" category of 'other financing' but it may come earlier than "3".
Once Lanxess opts out and declines offtake, I believe SLI has a contract(s) lined up for offtake agreements with prepays. These prepays will be a large contributor to CAPEX 'financing' as well. Not sure if Standard would announce these agreements before or after finalizing the partnership.
Basically, we are in a (hopefully 45 days max) quiet period that will undoubtedly drag the price down. However, once that quiet period is broken, there is a landslide of catalysts that should be due up in a short period of time that could really cause a 200%+ run over a few months. In Dec/Jan/Feb we are almost certain to get:
1) Partnership
2) Offtake agreements/prepays (cash)
3) Financing details for Phase 1
4) Official FID (although this may get baked in once partnerships/financing is announced)
5) Grant? stretch goal for given timeframe
And that's just the big stuff. You can almost guarantee there's gonna be other items sprinkled in. Commencement of DFS at at SW ARK probably coming soon. PFS in East Texas may be coming soon. Just a little bit longer before these start rolling in left and right.
Okay that's my shameless pump for the day. Back to your regularly scheduled 5% drops.

Seriously. What is going on with this stock? Up 50%, down 25%, up 10% all within the last two weeks. Feels like A&M’s annual roller coaster. Except this is much more important to my retirement.
