Not sure why I'm so late to the party, but 2,000 of my shares were lent out today on Schwab.

Would be a good time for a short attack when Lanxess makes their decision to not invest. Market will see as a bad thing. They have very interested parties that will pick up the slack in short order and should have the PR in place for a quick recovery. I'm going to set a very large buy order at $.98 just in case.

I think we something very positive within the next four weeks, but there is an opening for a short attack. I'll be better prepared this time. There is an agenda against SLI, I'm convinced of it. The big boys don't like newcomers getting the jump on them.

Lake resourses is down nearly 4% today

Lithium Americas is down nearly 10%

SLI is up nearly 4%

Not sure its apples to apples, but something is odd about today.

I do feel better about it than I did a week ago, and I do intend to load up on any drop on lanxess bowing out.

Something is going on. Even an engineer for Albermarle said it's the real deal and things are going to be really good for the area. He's working on their DLE and says it's working but that doesn't mean SLI isn't ahead of them. His impression is that they are playing catch up, but didn't rule out some sort of agreement between SLI and Albermarle. Very wry about it. He can't say a lot of things of course.

SLI is hiring again btw and offering very good benefits. Not usually SPO for struggling companies. There are a few naysayers saying it's snake oil and going to zero, but I have yet to hear anyone with real knowledge of the situation say anything negative about long term prospects.

Just an FYI.

TBH, having the share lending kick back in pulled my spirits out the the toilet. I hate the idea of that much money sitting there for the next two years before things get real.

Can you point in the direction of their listing? That's one of the things I like to check on and I cannot find anything on the traditional sites.

Saw where Albermarle just dumped their bid to buy Liontown lithium.

Looks like one billionaire investor blew up the deal.

Honestly, I wouldn't be thrilled if Albemarle (or anyone else) swooped in and attempted to acquire SLI for a 100% premium on current share price like they were doing for Liontown. What about yall?
$6.18 tomorrow and it's over-are you happy about it?

Don’t think anyone would want to take a kind of bath when the lithium they already have rights to is worth considerably more.

I would rather it be someone publicly traded like AlBM so I could stay exposed to the project. If Koch buys it out for that price, which is possible then I’ll be a cash deal and we’re out.

Would still like to see what openings Standard is hiring for right now. Anyone have a solid link?

Also - Is there something going on behind the scenes today? 5% jump and a volume spike after 10:00 EST. Surely the Albemarle news is not what's driving this?

I gotta think this is gradual institutional buying. Just don't see any other explanation.

I know SLI has had several rounds of investor presentations over the past two weeks. I'd be curious to know who was with them during these pitches.

Side note, just a friendly reminder that we'll be getting a PR this week about DFS NI-43-101 filing. Curious if there is any new info in that. I'd love to see them lump Lanxess backing out into that PR.

Upon further investigation several lithium companies had a similar jump at the same time this morning.
Piedmont, Sigma, Lithium Americas (settled back down), American Lithium, etc...

I don't. Not involved in that part. Last two were operators.

Ok. Ops is not typically hired until after construction starts, so this could be replacement or additions to the pilot plant staff.
