?

Just meaning that they are trying to do things other than just extract the lithium. Even additional process adds complexity to the project.

They are really good at participating in events and not mining lithium

Maybe they should just employ the KISS principle and get on with it.

The Royalties and Permitting situation is a big negative for me. They might want to attend fewer investor conferences and get these hurdles cleared. Do we know as of today that Koch is still invested? How many of you have TTI in your lithium portfolio?

So they participate/present at a conference and…. nothing?

I don't know about that. I'm just jaded by the OTC companies that seemingly the only PR they put out is about conferences.

The other challenge concerns regulatory permits. Before Standard Lithium is able to begin construction on infrastructure for the SWA Project, it will need a range of permits that require review and approval from the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment, the Division of Environmental Quality, the Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission, and potentially, the Environmental Protection Agency. One of these ten permits, the Underground Injection Control (UIC) permit, is expected to take more than two years to secure approval.

Here’s all I could find from the conference. It’s the slides from their presentation, and I don’t see anything new in it. Maybe someone else can find a nugget.

Hey, at least that’s for the second project and not the first. I don’t think the first (Lanxess) project has any major permitting hurdles from what I’ve read.?

Yes, that's disgusting, but Arkansas is the regulator on royalties. If Eldorado and region are to be their Permian basin of lithium, then royalty issue should have been settled already. This doesn't pass the smell test. SLI is ripe for another short seller hit.

SLI when the shareholders tell them it's time to actually engage in revenue activities:

I noted they are still exploring the possibility of obtaining additional funding from the federal government through the Department of Energy, the Defense Production Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.

Is that what manchin was talkin about yesterday? Getting the lithium and cobalt etc from US instead of untrustworthy suppliers?

Now if SLI would only do that!

quote:

So far it has produced 5.1t of 99.76% lithium carbonate that, based on recent trading prices of US$72,000t, would be worth almost $330,000.

Argosy expects to achieve steady state processing by mid-year.
