It was commissioned. Won't exist until 2023. So its Schrodenger's feasibility study, existing in both states of good and bad.

Haha yeh. And I think that’s gonna be the case once it’s released as well cause it is going to have serious sticker shock. The CAPEX to get those brine feed streams up and running is going to be massive.
Just gimme a damn Lanxess project update. I need it. Bout to start banging on the table. Feed me.

Sounds about right for this company. Finally releases some PR, stock down 5%.

Looks like good news with a very thorough PFS planned.

I'm adding.....Consider the difference in institutional investment here (97, 21%) vs other juniors.
Institutional $ doesn't guess & pray. We're still at just a billion $ market cap which again, relative to juniors, is small potatoes. 4-5x this doesn't feel unrealistic if (when) the PFS comes back.
Bottom line is someone is going to win significant share for Domestic Green energy. My bet is SLI.

It's odd today. The market is down a little bit, and SLI gets some PR and goes down more than the market. ?

Yeh proceeding with the PFS for the SWA project certainly isn’t bad news.
Unfortunately, the market was expecting different news (positive Pre-FEED and decision to commence with FEED). Often times when the market is waiting on specific news and a company releases not relevant news, it is received extra poorly. Makes people thing it’ll be even longer before the “good news” comes out.
I think that’s what we’re seeing today. With no PR, we aren’t dipping this low.

this is a different site correct?
they already had positive results study from one other site being developed in partnership with Lanxess, correct?

Yes the PFS for the Lanxess site is done already. They are working on the pre-FEED for the Lanx site now (actually, it should be just about done).
This PFS is for the “old Tetra” site. It doesn’t have much of any existing infrastructure so will be a much bigger undertaking.

Would be nice to survive the drop from our PR release today that seemed positive…

Biden administration announces $3.1 billion for America’s battery shortage

Mon, May 2, 2022, 10:07 AM
The White House announced $3.16 billion is on the way to help with the battery shortage in America.
The money, which will come from funds in the recently enacted Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, was announced by the White House and the Department of Energy on Monday. Officials promise the money will help domestic manufacturers make more batteries in the U.S., iron out supply chain issues for components, and also mitigate some of the environmental impacts from battery manufacturing.

It would be prudent for them to give all 3 billion to SLI I think yes? Yes, good.
Posted on 5/2/22 at 10:02 pm to Fe_Mike
That’s what I was thinking. It only makes sense and may take this stock to $6+.

Very interesting - the rate on my loaned out shares (still 100% out) tripled. It’s now 17% which is insane.
No idea what that means, but…interesting data point.

Earned Interest Varies With Demand
When a stock is in high demand and becomes hard to borrow, investors could receive a higher interest rate.
"What the investor earns in return really depends – if the security they are loaning is hard to borrow, meaning in high demand, then they could get a higher rate and of course the inverse is true, says Chris Larkin, senior vice president at E-Trade. "When it comes to fees, your broker-dealer will generally split 50% of the earned income. That said, just because you enroll in these programs, it's not a guarantee that the securities from your portfolio will get picked. It all goes back to the demand
I guess short interest is rising . Anyone know how high the short interest is?
