re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

And then I read this...although it doesn't mention the PEA specifically, this might be a bit concerning?
LINK
.....As we extract the bromine from our brine leases to service the oil and gas markets as well as the energy storage markets, we will have access to the lithium in the acreage where TETRA holds 100% of the lithium rights not subject to the Standard Lithium option. The lithium battery market is already acknowledged to be a rapidly growing market, affording TETRA the opportunity to participate in a meaningful way. In the coming periods we will assess the next steps towards developing these key minerals to augment our current global infrastructure and chemistry know-how allowing us to expand beyond the oil and gas market in which TETRA remains a significant market participant."
We are not currently able to determine the economic viability of the extraction of the lithium and bromine from the leased acreage. The extraction of lithium and bromine from these brine leases may require a significant amount of time and capital, which we are not able to estimate at this time. While we continue to evaluate the next steps regarding the potential development of our brine leases, we have yet to conduct exploration work on the leases. The exploration target's potential quantity and grade is conceptual in nature, there has been insufficient exploration to estimate a mineral resource, and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a mineral resource. The exploration targets expressed should not be misrepresented or misconstrued as an estimate of a mineral resource or ore reserve.

I think Tetra had their own firm do that work on their own PEA and they can’t get all the info from SLI, so that’s not really surprising imho and has no bearing on the SLI PEA.

The third party PEA notation was both public and was re-confirmed to Mike and at least one other poster here.
Shite happens but I am a touch surprised.

Can you explain why your info on the release was not accurate?
Right place at right time?
It’s not cool to say you have that kind of news if you really don’t.

Well hopefully the Democrats pass the infrastructure bill over the weekend (for our SLI stock prospects at least). Surprised they are stumbling this much, usually they are like the Borg in their ruthlessness and hive mind!

I believe the PEA has been delayed due to other projects being included. Mintak did say all of their south Arkansas projects, not just Tetra. Who knows if that's Lanxess and Tetra or if Galvanic with their 100,000 acres or so of new leases has come into play. Also, I thought Mintak was pretty confident appearing in that podcast. Didn't seem like a man with many worries. Trips around Europe and Lanxess acquiring numerous brine sites has got to make you wonder just how big this is going to be.
Was asked my gut feeling earlier. I bought an extra $50k worth today. That's about what my first 90-100k shares cost.

I am confused, ballstein is singing the blues and you are buying.
So the article is a nothing?

Tetra's numbers were good for their 10%. They don't have SLI's data so they can't say what the costs of a project would be. What I took from it was they spent money on it. And based off their estimates their share had conservatively over 80k tons of lithium and up to like 360k tons if I recall.
We have been assuming 880k tons for Tetra. Tetra's 10% would be that lower number. It could and probably is much higher. 4x higher possibly.
Yeah, I'm still buying.

Biden just basically shelved the infrastructure bill until the reconciliation bill is passed, so we may see a selloff in EV related stocks on Monday as the timing has been pushed back now.

I'm not necessarily singing the blues.
Someone asked when the PEA was supposed to be finalized and I saw that one article saying it was supposed to be completed by end of Q3, which just ended yesterday.
Then the other article about TETRA and how it seems they aren't ready at all for any lithium production and they need time and lots of money.
I havent sold (or bought) any of my SLI shares. I am considering buying more once I get paid next week depending on where the price is. I always told myself to keep buying until it hits $10 and then let it ride.
I'll be concerned if nothing is announced or finalized by the end of this year.
Like a said a few pages ago that I wish they'd give more updates on their progress.....especially given that they said it should be finalized by the end of Q3 and apparently it's been delayed

What I would love to happen given the delays is that SLI is talking with Musk and Tesla for a partnership since apparently Piedmont shite the bed on everything they had planned for their NC site.
I seriously can't believe they did everything...buy up land, ink a deal with Tesla, high investment bankers, etc but didn't talk with local officials until this July and didn't file for a permit until last month.
Now that particular county has added mining standards and regulations that could shut the project down completely. The Tesla deal has been indefinitely postponed.
