I just took profits tonight. I had some losses earlier this year, so no tax issues. If it runs after this bounce I’ll get back in. I just didn’t want to give up a 12% pop since I don’t have tax issues. I was up 25% in only a few weeks.

Stocks typically goes back down after a Cramer pop, but hopefully this will keep running for you all.

Bruh now when you buy back in you're resetting the clock for a full year to get to long term cap gains. MAYBE in a Roth you could pull this off as a quick flip to pick up more shares or use the flip profits elsewhere, but especially in the higher tax brackets in a brokerage account, the smarter strategy is to stay the course and lock in long term cap gains next year when this is $20-30+.

12 day window based on history. A PEA announcement next week would pump it again when the Cramer bounce starts waning.

FtR. I bought 3K shares this morning at 6.95 and sold them AH today. Pissed I couldn’t get them when I lost phone service at 6.60

The penny flippers are out in force! If you guys would just hold off for 2-3 days you could flip at $10 not $8.

I will never question those treat take profits - but a head scratcher here and a little frustrating to see the selling. This was bonus news - the big promised q3 news is imminent and the JV - should be build on build - could moon fast if people held

I’ve only been in for three weeks (bought on 8/27 and 9/16). Cost basis of a little more than $5.42. I’ll take those gains to reset the clock for three weeks. Again, I had some losses already from early in the year, so there is no tax impact on STCG (thanks TSNP and ZOM).

I am not a baller like you all. I only had 4500 shares, so it’s not impacting the price. I’ve learned my lesson watching this have sharp pullbacks after quick run ups.

I’m holding 20K shares

I helped pump it when I bought 3K shares at 7. You said it yourself it is going to drop. I watched my entire home mortgage disappear already once. I’m not doing that again

Absolute gift. Tonight’s AH had nothing to do with this fundamentally. I’ve seen the Cramer pop too many times over the last 10-12 years. I am profiting off of new people that just came in after hours (cannot believe I am having to justify taking 27% profits). I’m willing to bet I get back in at or below $7. If not, I’ll move on and be happy to have made these small gains. There’s always another trade or investment. My guess is I’ll be back long with even more shares soon. Good luck to you all.

I’m lost my arse staying in TSNP instead of taking some profits. Skin a sheep once.

When this company starts being profitable, what’s it theoretically worth? We talking about $20-30? Or could it reach $100? Asking for a friend.

$20-30 per share is probably close to fair value for a DCF of SLI's shares of the three planned Lanxess plants. To get to $100/share you need a lot of boost from the Tetra leases, additional income from bromine depleted brinewater on the Lanxess leases, licensing their tech to other companies and in other formations outside the Smackover, applications to other substances besides lithium, etc. $100/share is probably an extreme bull case, maybe $40-50 is a very rosy bull case.

I think $20-30 is possible in the next few years with the right deals in place. I’d feel more confident in the $30 if it weren’t for the high likelihood of some necessary dilutive fundraising.

$100 not on the table with what we know. I just don’t see Standard having enough lithium market share to hit that kind of market cap.

Now, if the technology branches outside of lithium as is being whispered about and they start introducing other potential revenue streams then yeh…I’d say this could be a $50B company in a decade or so.

50B is much much more than 100 per share

Did I say fifty? I meant fif-teen…yeh

I do the same thing every freaking time I calculate this company’s MC on the fly. My brain is convinced they have 500M shares outstanding and there is no telling it otherwise.
