re: Diving deeper on Standard Lithium?

Agreed on the interpretation that they only pulled ~10% of the volume.
Couple of things. First, Tetra can’t extract the lithium so SLi would end up getting that other 10% anyway I’m sure.
Second, Tetra still has to make the decision to go get the brine and that operation won’t be in place for many years I would imagine.
Pretty good initial PEA though, bodes well for SLi when they release theirs.

Only if they choose to wait. Everything is there and operational. Sounds like they are going to get Lanxess production going first, then use money from that to fund Tetra project. If the demand and price is there, they could have Tetra site up and going in probably 6-9 months. I'm not sure how the existing sodium plant could be of benefit, but it's still standing and has been kept maintained. Lanxess hired most of Tetra's employee's or at least all the one's they really wanted/needed. Would make it easier. Plus the handful that have been kept by Tetra to keep sodium plant staffed so they didn't have to take it down. Don't think they've been paying them for two years for nothing. Or year and a half. COVID year has my timeframes off. Can't remember exactly when they stopped production at Tetra site. Maybe around this time last year.

Big gap at open.
Let’s see what she does.

That plant wasn’t decommissioned and moth balled? Didn’t know that. If they could get feed stock flowing in <1 yr that’s significant.

Oh man I’ve had a limit sell on my swing shares at 6.80 since the day we got uplisted.
Gotta remove that now since we’ll blow through it on our next gap up, hopefully on some news this week!

Now this is the way to start out a week!

It starts by saying Tetra has 31,100 acres but 27,500 of those acres are under SLI option for lithium.
I interpreted it as there's 58,600 acres on the Tetra site, and SLI has option rights on 27,500 of those acres.
All the targets are on the 31,100 (non SLI) acres.

Nope.
Tetra has rights to 31,100 acres. They've given Standard the option for rights to 27,500 acres of lithium. Standard has no bromine option to any of the 31,100 acres. This PEA was done mostly for bromine wrt to Tetra. They just happened to include the small lithium portion.

With respect to approximately 27,500 acres of that total acreage,

The scope of the exploration target assessment is for bromine in all the approximately 31,100 net acres and lithium for the acreage where TETRA holds 100% of the lithium rights not subject to the option.

As far as I know, everything is still there. Minimal staffing, but other work has been done. Have no idea what kind of work, but traffic in and out pretty much daily.
I've never been inside that facility. Just seen pictures of it and kinda know the layout of it. Never gave it much of a thought until this. Did seem like a waste to take it all down if it could be used. Seems to me the drying and packaging would be useful and I guess Tetra will be taking the bromine?

The way they keep using "net acres" makes me think toula has it right. And that the study was for the 31,100 acres that SLI doesn't have options on.
Either way, the market loves it
