Don't want a huge gain like that until all my shares have long-term capital gains tax treatment though...

You would get out at $10? I may sell a big chunk, but I'd definitely keep a foot in. I'd probably wait until things died down again and jump right back in.

Nah I’m probably not selling much until $20/share.

This is what I'd likely do, if there was a massive spike, I'd likely pull some chips off the table and then wait for the inevitable pull back to buy back in.

Maybe with my Roth shares but not with any shares with short term cap gains treatment in my brokerage account. My Q2 cap gains payment (all short term) was 43% of the gain, ouch!!

No kidding. Only 1/3 of mine is in my Roth IRA.

About 25% here. Figure it’s life changing money so want it sooner than age 60!

I’m riding the roller coaster at least to $30. At that point, I may sell some, but would have to reevaluate company potential at that time.

All of my 28,780 in our IRA account.

lots of variables to give a straight answers yes or no. If it takes a year or more to get to $10 and many of the levers have been pulled to get there then yes, I'm out at $10.
If it gets there in a hurry, say in 6 months and only a few things have happened to get it there then I'm riding it out longer.
The slow steady climb to $4 has me thinking the latter is the most likely play here.

At $20 this would be like 75% of my portfolio. Would be a good problem to have but nerve wracking at the same time.

I'll have to see what their plans are at $10, $20, $50, etc.

What do you mean here? Unless they're issuing more shares, the stock price does nothing for the company's cash on hand.
Perhaps I'm misinterpreting the post.

For $10/share? Nah.

Like 85% of mine are now long-term.
