Anyone notice the HUGE trade on CRWS at market close today?

850,000 shares...over $4 mil on a single trade. A 4% drop in share price for the day.

For reference, the stock avg daily volume is in the 10-15k shares range (almost 2 orders of magnitude larger than average). The trade was equivalent to about 9% of market cap. There hasn’t been a trade of this size since 2013, and 2006 before that.

This is obviously big and something is up.

I’d be interested in who would buy 850K shares than who would sell them.
if it’s an insider buy back that’s a good thing

I wondered if its insider.

But i would think a buyback would cause upward price pressure. Not downwards. O

That certainly makes for an interesting chart!

It looks like Wellington Management is the only shareholder large enough to sell that much at one time since they are the only ones with that many shares (1 million). The CEO is listed as having 731,000.

FWIW - In the fall of 2018 Burkenroad had them at outperform and with a 12 month price target of $8.00.

I did a little tenant buildout for them several years ago they were renting space in the regions bank building. I bought some of their stock just on a lark and lost a few dollars and haven’t thought of them since

God what a terribly boring business. I could never own a stock attached to something so terribly unexciting.

48 million dollar market cap. Talk about micro...

Yeah, I must say it's appealing

I actually saw the symbol on the CNBC ticker the other day, and thought it was a brewery. Had no idea it was a baby store from Gonzales.

But if they shite cash, why is the stock in steady decline?!

the share price is down 45% in the last three years, falling well short of the market return of around 47%.

While that tends to make the dividend yield look good, in 2016 it paid out .97 a share, in 2018 dividend pay out was .32
