CSR is a Visa infinite which requires a min limit of $10k. The Marriot is a Visa signature which requires a min of $5k.
They explained to me about the 10K. I wasn't aware Mariot was 5K min.
I asked if it would help if I got rid of a card and they said no. So something seemed fishy

Somebody help this man. Though I do not think it is possible via transfer, as they aren't a part of Lufthansa anymore, though booking with points as cash will.
In other news, my wife's Reserve got pushed through last night. Had to make the post denial call. Very excited
Now, I have to debate which card I'm going to keep at premium level, my Bold or her Reserve. I guess we'll see if Reserve's benefits outweigh the $55 difference / when they nerf this baby.

Good stuff.
Met my first every spending requirement in just a month. $3000 for 50,000 miles on the Barclaycard Arrival Plus.
Will likely get a CSR before traveling to Banff next month

Last question for you Amerikop...
Ended up booking a flight to Madrid using 22.5 AA miles.
Now loooking for a one way flight departing Florence Italy to LAX on 2/20.
I've still got my 75k thank you points as well as 100k+ chase ultimate rewards points. What would be the best way to utilize points to get a business class seat?
FYI I'm waiting on the new promos from Flying Blue on Feb 1st as you mentioned.
Thanks for all the info. Your a legend

How many pax? 1 or 2?
Unless you find something on Flying Blue - you only have enough points for 1 person in Business.
I'd look for flights out of Rome if possible. Btw - Florence to Rome is a very scenic drive on the Chiantigiana all through Tuscany. So if you can, position yourself in Rome. You will have much better (and more) options flying out of Rome than Florence.
You can use UR to United for 57.5K on United operated flights. But why waste it on their terrible business class? 70K on other Star partners (SWISS, Lufthansa, Turkish etc).
Or 57.5K AA miles on Biz for OW carriers. Just gotta make sure you avoid exiting UK on BA. Getting to London on it is fine, but making the TATL on BA will kill the whole deal with the absurd fuel surcharges. You need to make the TATL on Finnair or AA
Again, if business is not a must, look into cash prices to use TYP/UR.
Lastly - remember that you need to make a decision soon, as both UA and AA will charge a close in booking fee of $75 once you are within the 21 day window of your flight.

Can't seem to find any availability to SNG. Any other suggestions to blow our MR pts to get there? thx.

Don't mean to pick but make sure you are looking at SGN (not SNG). Also check HAN.
If flying into BKK or SIN is an option, then you have some more options. Catch a cheap intra-asia flight on one of the LCCs.
Lastly - which AmeX card do you have? There have been business class sales lately which you can purchase @ 2 cpp if you have amex bus plat.
If none of these work out, let me know. I'll look into it.

Albertsons have hard coded their registers to disallow MO purchases with gcs. It worked on Thursday night, didn't work today. So it's recent.

So, my wife and I both have a CSR. My wife got a text from Chase about a possible $1.99 fraudulent charge. Called and they are going to remove it. They noticed it before we did.
While on the phone, I told my wife to have them add me to her account so I could talk to them about issues on her card (she would prefer I do that).
They are sending her a new card, and apparently sending a card for me as an authorized user? I didn't intend that, just wanted my name on the account.
Should I just call Chase now, or wait and see what they send us and then call?

I wouldn't wait. AUs for CSR cost money.

They added you as an AU like it sounded like you wanted. They are just going to send you another card with your name on it. If you don't need it, put somewhere safe and forget about it.

I guess I'm wondering if there is a fee for a 2nd card? I want to be an authorized user on her account, but I really don't need a card on her account, as I will use my own. If no fee, it won't bother me, just stick it in my safe.

Not yet. But CSR said - "We no longer accept prepaid cards for MOs". After looking at my card (after it was declined). I asked her if this was recent - she said yes. Will try another on Monday.

I bought one at 5pm Friday... at first she said the debit system wasn't working but we tried anyway and It went through no problems. She then said they must've just got it up and running again. Maybe it was just a temporary thing
