Nope, it's just a wait and see what my wife decides.

I did only buy this house almost 2 years ago, so I gotta get to June to avoid taxes.

Awesome. I use them to transfer to United when I'm short on United miles and want a free flight. United and American have big hubs at Dulles so those are the two airlines I tend to hoard miles for.

How were you able to generate a link for the Freedom?

Drew Orleans:

If you were denied for the Arrival+, I don't think you will be able to get the sapphire yet. Just saving you a hard pull. Go for the Freedom instead. In about 6 months, you should be able to go for the Sapphire and other "premium" cards.

Should I be doing that card over the arrival plus?

Why should the sapphire be the next card over the ink?

I basically had a referral emailed to myself at a different email address and copied that link.

It's all a matter of preference but the chase combo is very good because of flexibility and their new 5/24 rule...get chase cards first then branch out.

I noticed that too...chase sucks. However, I posted a link to Facebook to one friend through refer a friend and then I magically received a previously sent referral to myself.

I've switched to just posting links and Facebook via pm.

Suppose I'll just post here instead of starting a thread.. I am looking for a credit card recommendation from the board. I am currently making extra mortgage payments in order to accelerate paying off PMI. I probably have a good 15-18 months left or so to reach the required 22% equity. I would like to get a credit card and utilize the 0% APR introductory period. I would carry a balance on it and throw my would-be credit card payments at the principal balance of my loan. I could then be able to pay off PMI in about 6 months.. which would save me $1000+ in PMI payments..

I would then begin paying off the credit card and have it paid off before the 0% apr period ends. This should not be a problem as long as the 0% introductory period is a minimum 15 months.. After doing a little research, I see that Citi Simplicity is 0% for 21 months, but I'm leaning toward Chase Freedom which is 15 months plus a slew of cash back benefits. What are the boards recommendations?

ETA: Credit score is 790ish. Always paid off at end of month. Currently have 2 credit cards which I use for everything I can. Amex Blue cash preferred and an Amazon visa. I would temporarily halt use of these cards and put everything on the new card..

If you think the cost of carrying a balance (potential threat to your credit score) outweighs your monetary cost of paying PMI (which I think it does), then Chase Freedom would be the way to go, no doubt. I'm sure cmlsu will be happy to refer you

Cash Back is the least rewarding reward you'll get out of it

Just bought GCs at WDs. Business as usual. All is well.

However, I noted that the GCs are now issued by Sunrise bank instead of MetaBank. This was expected since the Blackhawk Network takeover. Just a heads up before you try to load up your Serves and BBs.

Maybe why the racks were emptied last week?

Any chance that spg upped it because they know program will be devalued in near future with merger?
