I know that I never want to go there, haha. Knew that before the trip but heard some horror stories. Apparently it's normal to see people just shite right in the middle of the street several times a day. Too real for me.

Sorry to say but that is BS. Is it the cleanest place? No. But that is a bit of an exaggeration haha. You should check it out. It's different.
Btw - I am from India. Been in the US for ~9y.

Ya, I only saw a little girl poop in the road once.
I was in a moving car on the main road and she was pooping on the service road.
I guess the only real bad thing about that one time was I could tell there were other piles around her.
But besides that there's a lot to do there, and you can travel "high end" there for not too much.
I've only been to Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur and Pushkar. So many places left to go North and South.
My wife wasn't the biggest fan though

Afro has at least 1 of those as well.
I see. I recently applied for that, went into pending. Waiting to hear back, How much do you spend on 5x cats with the Ink? What % of normal spend? Worried about getting shut down when I get mine.

Jaipur and Udaipur quite possibly the best for a tourist to see. Well, even for people from other parts of India. See if you can go to Leh, Laddakh in Jammu and Kashmir in India. From there you could continue on to Nepal and onto the Everest base camp maybe.

I'm sure it doesn't happen everywhere and I'm sure people exaggerate, but I had 2+ different people who just left there tell me that and how they were so glad to be in Thailand.
Everyone I have heard speak of India either hates it or says it is the greatest travel destination on earth. I just think it likely won't suit me and my wife.
Teddy nailed it. My wife would be miserable and then she make me miserable, haha.

Before I prepaid Amazon for the year at 10% my spend on my Inks went sort of like this.
Ink Bold - Pays my DirecTV
Ink Cash - Pay Cox Cable
Every month or so I'd do about $1,500 in Staples GCs.
Buy $50 a month in Shell GCs from Staples
Buy $100 or so in Amazon GCs from Staples
That was about it. I wasn't trying to get shutdown
I need to actually kick off a thriving business now to get more spend.

Had several people tell me Nepal was amazing. Might have to add it to the list.

I've been thinking about the same. Don't want to resell. But I could easily do something that has high costs and no profit. Even upto a slight loss is ok.
We should meet up sometime. A little MS interest group
On that note - Anyone going to FTU Vegas this year? I missed out on the tickets.

This is it.
I liked that bit of chaos. Made me feel like I finally made it somewhere "before it went corporate" or whatever the hell people say about all the "touristy" places.

I've mentioned to Teddy before an IRL travel and points get together. We should make it happen.

Haha you didnt think Delhi was corporate? I'm from Mumbai. Probably a little less bad than New Delhi. But we did just get our 1st St. Regis

No but I'll be in Vegas in February. Britney Spears. For the wife, she missed her chance as a teenager.
As for India, I was just joking around about what those uppity bloggers and backpackers say all the time on the internet. Delhi still had roves of people living under the bridges and the sidewalks, etc. They just can't keep up with million people a year moving to the cities. We have nothing like that to compare to in the US. Our infrastructure would crumble under that pressure similarly.
I'd love to start in Mumbai and work South into Goa and Kerala. The trip I went I was supposed to go to Varanasi but we changed plans. Probably a good idea for the wife. Might have been too intense.

My wife and I went last year and it was our second out of country trip together. We did the Annapurna trek with a guide and porter and it was really quite cheap.
