I know I’m probably late, but prices and backlogs continue to rise. What are some good stocks to take advantage of during this?

commercial building materials are volatile at the moment mostly due to supply chain issues. It will quickly level out

Do you see prices coming down at all even when supply chain is fully operational?

When supply catches up to demand?... absolutely. Question is how long will that take?

So it would make sense then to either short the building materials market or buy puts on home builders?
Would you recommend doing that?

i would recommend buying e- commerce, digital advertising, streaming/connected TV and semiconductors if your goal is to make real money in 2021
you want to see a REAL supply chain bottleneck?
research the current and inevitably looming chip shortage
