It's pretty frustrating, every time you think the tide has turned, in one fell swoop it shoots back up. I guess it's going to take a consistent few weeks of better than expected injections to make the turn for good.

Large day time volume in July contracts. Ticks down during the day, probably because the professionals are trading. Follows after 5PM when the amateurs jump on.

No real liquidity in KOLD, but I'm trying to place an August 33/37 bull put spread. I doubt it ever gets to even the midpoint.

10:30 EST. Anything over 71 would be good.

I'm assuming the injection report was nice this week.

Looks like storage was +74bcf vs. predictions of 71-73bcf.

Another beat

Yup. But I saw some estimates as high as 78. Futures down over a dime across the board.

The important contract for everyone short July is the August contract. August is $4.616, Cash is $4.736 as of right now.

I think we need natty gas under $4 to make money.

If we can keep this avg injection per week up we are gonna be more than good to make some money come July-Aug-Sept-Oct.

August, Sept and Oct? I had completely overlooked this. Thanks, I'll be going there next time there is a rebound, which I would expect tomorrow.

Unless things change from last night and early this morning, it's going to be bloody for the natty gas bulls again today.

I hope so. I've finally hit a stride in oil futures and my UNG puts are killing my gains.

Which puts, and what is your entry and strike price(s)?

I had to average down on my puts, all the way to Friday. My July 20/23 puts are at .25 and .46. It's been an enlongated painful way to feed the trade so far for me.

Give me month and strike price and I'll figure out the Greeks on it, and also run it through this spreadsheet I made to see where futures need to be to get to UNG price.

I think we could see UNG at $20. I bought some UNG July 23P at up to .93, but I averaged it down all through last week.
