I'n sorry.

Hopefully since your industry has had insane production and profit the last few years... your company took care of you over the years and on the way out.

When things are artificially high... it makes the crash that much harder.

Actually that’s a good way to look at it. We had a heck of a run. We made some money and expanded my horizons. Forged some new friendships that will help me in my future endeavors. Thanks for letting me see it in that perspective.

I mean by this logic, Trump is just as much to blame for his ridiculous spending during his presidency

I said partially to blame buddy. Trump did great things, but my biggest complaint with him was that he never got the spending under control. You can thank democrats for all the ESG garbage that has resulted in the lack of investment in O&G. Biden saw this coming and doubled down on stupid policies.

I hope the Republicans take congress back. Would at least help stop some of this madness.

You still asleep?

Can you not see we no longer have representative government on a national scale?

Party affiliations matter not one bit.

The REAL government has shown itself. It is:

World Bank
IMF
The Federal Reserve
World Economic Forum
Trilateral Commision
Council on Foreign Relations

Agreed. States need to grow a pair and neuter the federal government into the ground.

There are no fiscal conservatives anymore. You are just voting on woke politics vs non-woke now.

The same states that are drunk off federal government block grants and disaster relief?

Good freaking luck.

That... and does the wasteful government spending go towards issues you support or issues you don't.

John Kennedy is the closest thing we have to a fiscal conservative in DC... and he's not exactly lighting it on fire.

So putting the clamps on the oil/gas industry has nothing to do with soaring prices?

Biden was VP for 8 of those 12 years. He shares plenty of responsibility.

You keep saying this but oil is at prices that we saw 8-10 years ago and there wasn’t inflation.

In 2008 I was at Willis Knighten in Shreveport waiting for my mom to come out of heart surgery when I get an email stating "Meeting to Discuss Your Separation Package". On my Blackberry :)

I was like what the hell, called the office and 400 of us had been let go in an all-staff meeting.

Getting let go is terrible but at least people are hiring now, try Amazon if it gets bad.

I've been there myself. It sucks.

President Biden
@POTUS
·
2h

United States government official
My Administration is making clear that charging Americans for a bounced check they deposit or an overdrafted bank account isn't just wrong.

It's illegal.

Oddly enough, thousands of banks have been getting away with this "illegal" practice for many, many years. You'd think that someone would've done something about it by now since it is "illegal", right?
