Long time holder here. Took a little off the top today. These past six months have rewarded years of patience.

If a buyout is forthcoming, any reasonable idea on what it will be at?

6-7bn is my guess.

Roughly $45 to $55

From 25 October 2017:
Ultimately we own a 450 million dollar company with the potential to be worth upwards of 5 billion dollars. That's why I'm here.

Today's market cap briefly surpassed 3bn. Look for 100% premium on the buyout.

They just need to keep pulling scripts into the quarter. We've got till end of month. Then we find out all the details come November. Could be a great holiday season.

I'm not sure how vetted this information is but supposedly the prescription count for the third quarter continues to accumulate. Up to 65 with another week to go. Obviously that would be outstanding news for the value of a potential buyout or for increasing value as a go it alone.

Is that new scripts or is that including refills?

Supposed to be new scripts. Which would be a dramatic increase over the second quarter

i mean that would make sense since no one is curing lupus nephritis, over time more of those patients will be placed on it

65 new scripts vs. 23 for Q2

These are only what can be seen via Bloomberg, but clearly, the trend looks great.

I love how boring this has gotten.
What’s not to love about settling in the $23 to 23.50 range?

Either the RSI continues to cool before next lift off, or we’re following a popular buyout trend.

Our chart is starting to look very similar to other recent well known buyouts. Did y’all see that on StockTwits?

What’s your gut feeling on buyout? Before ER on Nov 8? End of year?

It's sooo difficult to say.

I think that it is more likely than not that they are currently in negotiations. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment, but there is SO MUCH SMOKE.

I'm thinking 45+ before earnings.
I say that because anyone who is seriously interested in buying the company would now have access to all the numbers needed (including A2 data). And I think there are several interested parties per the Financial Times blurb.

Price action is just acting too strange for something not to be up.

I agree but I think more like 65 share or roughly 9 billion dollar total buyout. If the the data from the covid study is going well we could see even higher.

Wondering where you've been. You've always been super bullish on the science and the potential revenue.

I actually added today.
Need 10 more shares for a nice even number.

I’m a TD guy only when I work from home which is only certain days a week. I’ve just been seeing other bio’s bought out and when I compare peak revenues and how long those revenues will last I arrive at around 9 billion dollar evaluation for AUPH at the lowest. That’s assuming 1.5 B peak sales.
