Price target is $30
Demonstration satellite to be launched in September.
To the moon soon?
Who's got this one on the watch list?

I’m in this but only up 6% on the investment. If it hits $20 I’m selling.

I think today will be a rest day after yesterdays move up.
But $10 is what i think will happen in lead to launch in sept.
If that is a success then this will run. if a dud then we in trouble.

Thanks, I'd never heard of the company before your post. I did a bunch of research last night and this morning and bought a thousand shares to hold long term as a moonshot, no pun intended.

If the company hits its stated goals in 5 years it would be a $325 stock. With the massive capex, potential delays and with some technical challenges it's definitely a gamble so I'm not putting much money into it but the possible upside is huge.

I've been slowly buying a few shares here and there since you mentioned it originally. It's been really volatile so I only pick it up when it's hanging around in the low 6s. I'm expecting it to do a big jump around the launch date, like it did in March.

There is possible competition coming as well because earlier this month Ericsson, Qualcomm and Thales announced a plan to develop their own 5G satellite network.

One of the posters on the Standard Lithium Thread turned me on to it months ago.
Ive been in and out since then.
I think yesterday was a good indicator that this may run soon.

Oh yeah, maybe I'm thinking of GeneralLee that mentioned it. I have some ORGN too that he brought up.

Just out of curiosity what didn’t you like about ORGN?

Probably 80% chance Spacemobile becomes vaporware, I just don’t trust the management team too much as they haven’t been very transparent with delays and cost overruns. But it’s a decent moonshot gamble for 1-2% of your portfolio.

Weren't you the one pushing RDW- Redwire Corporation a while back? That one has done nothing but go down.

I soured on the management team there last winter, yeah stay away from RDW. Space stocks except for SpaceX are brutal.

Yeah ORGN chart looks bad but I think all price action prior to O1 factory opening in Q1 2023 is noise. If they can produce at scale and cost competitive with $30 oil, then I don’t see how it’s not a multi bagger long term. There should be demand for hundreds of ORGN’s plants, and once they prove tech can scale with O1 factory I expect that will open the door to licensing deals as well.

Yeah ORGN probably isn't going anywhere till 2023, I expect to hold mine until 2025-2030 for the long term gains. I do agree that for the most part "buy and hold" is dead in a market not supported by Federal Reserve QE and low interest rates.

ASTS. My biggest concern about this company is that no one else is attempting this.
That means two possible things.
1. It is truly innovative
2. Its a scam. The low unmoving stock price seems to confirm this.

I have position in ASTS
Thoughts anyone?

Also just took another look at ORGN after our conversation.
It actually looks like a buy right now.

There are others trying to attempt the same thing but probably 3-5+ years behind ASTS. I just don’t think the technology will be robust enough for reliable cell service, and I struggle to see them mass producing Bluebirds all of the sudden when it has taken them years just to make the one BW3 satellite. If it was really feasible to do it, I think SpaceX would have attempted it.

I think ORGN will be one of the few long term diamonds in the rough in SPAC land. I have very high confidence in that management team as they are actually ahead of schedule, and the ESG tailwinds and TAM for that one grow by the minute. It might hit the $4’s again if the S&P tests 3,500, but by 2025 I am expecting $20+ per share and expect that to be a conservative target.
