Anyone have some insight or holdings in this sector that one could consider?

I would look for companies that create the components for these companies. All of the big dogs are into artificial inteligencd(Google, etc.)

I bought BOTZ and ROBO at a decent time a little over a year ago as long term robotics ETF plays. BOTZ is flat and ROBO is up about 7.5% since I bought them. But over the past 12 months, BOTZ is down almost 22% and ROBO is down about 12%. I owned IRBT years ago. Unfortunately, I sold out of it prior to its big run later on: up about 79% over the past year.
An ETF in the AI space is AIEQ. I'm not recommending it (or the other ones), but it is in the space. Personally, in emerging areas like robotics and AI, I'd go with ETFs, instead of trying to pick the single stock lucky dog. It's a great area to be looking at IMO.

I own LITE and QCOM mainly for the virtual reality side of the play.

I think AIEQ is an AI directed ETF not an ETF centered around AI tech stocks. As in an AI controls the ETF.
