1 year later based on the date I’m seeing, but I agree they’re on track and really ahead of the game. People in finances aren’t necessarily on the forefront of technology, but here’s a group that’s investigating technology and leading the way and of course it’s paying off tremendously as it always does for early adopters

Sven Carlin on Youtube did a good video on it and how some of the stock price increases, he used CRSP as an example, can be directly correlated to the inflows into the popular Ark fund. So as the fund has grown in stature, it's created a feedback loop. Not that identifying these areas for future growth aren't good ideas, but if the inflows slow down and Ark loses cache, it could get painful with a rush to the exit.

There’s a lot of jealous people on Wall St that Cathy Wood had a great idea. Everybody wants to invest for the future, and she came up with an idea to promote that to an extreme. Also that Sven guy is a value investor, of course he’s gonna be a bear for ARK. ARK is not about current value, it’s about future potential. Completely counter to his way of investing

Good points. I'm a fan of Sven but I don't invest like him. I'm much more of a gambler on growth provided the company shows revenue or has finished a phase 3 trial. I came so close to pulling the trigger on CRSP when it was around $20 in late 2018 but didn't because it was early clinical stage...that and not buying some FCEL at 30 cents after the CEO change when I was seriously contemplating it will always haunt me.

The drone market intrigues me. Considering how cost effective it can potentially be and how near we are to it becoming reality, now is probably the time to start investing in a few companies. Besides UAVS and VISL, are there other companies to research in this sector? Have a small position in UAVS (1250 shares), but thinking about adding more.

Holy shite! Same here. I literally bought at the top a few years ago (~$60), and had been averaging down to about $45. Late last year I decided to cut my losses and roll it into MSFT. I’d still be red I believe, but it was horrible timing to sell when I did. Ah well.

And I’m late to the ARK party as I’ve been caught up in individual names basically all last year, but I will be looking to sell some individual names and rolling that capital into some ARK funds, to reduce my exposure to the Individual names and spread the risk... and to dip my toes into TSLA, in a round about way!

Now that sounds like something Wall Street Bets would get behind. I can already see all the Rocket emojis.
