Anyone rent out a car they own on Turo?

I have a tesla model 3 just sitting in my driveway that I don't drive anymore. Paid for. They rent from anywhere between $100 to $150/day on Turo.
I have a bunch of short term rentals that would pair really well with having a car available to rent separately too.
Anyone use turo before?

I haven’t rented out my car on turo but I’ve renters several cars on turo when on trips. Really like it but has some hiccups to it.

I used it to rent a Jeep once; was significantly lower in price than the legacy rental places. The interface (renter-end) feels very much like Airbnb in that sometimes you have to do some searching within the app to talk to the host, access current trip details, etc.
Overall I enjoyed it as a user. Nicer than over-paying for a bland Sonata (no offense to Hyundai drivers)

Personally I could not have my personal car to be treated as a rental car, plenty people do however.

I don't drive it. It's sitting in my driveway
But yes, I'd never do that with my daily driver

Does the owner have to pick you up? I'd like to have it where the car is at a set location and whoeever is renting has to go there

Why not just sell it if you don't drive it? I'm genuinely curious.

You can set it so the renters pick it up in a set location.
Can't speak for everyone but when I'm looking I will never rent a car that I can't pick up and drop off at the airport. Part of the reason I use turo is that it is generally cheaper than legacy rental companies. That value drops quickly if I have to spend ~40+ bucks on ubers to begin and end the rental.
You can have it so they pick it up at a set location for free, or you can deliver to them for a fee. Some people list crazy fees to make it worth their (the owner's) while to deliver.

Same question crossed my mind.

The plan was to sell it. But if I can rent it out and create an extra added value for my rental properties and an extra revenue stream, it's a win/win on a paid off car

This is in area that is a heavy tourist spot near the beach but there is no major airport close by. Most people come and visit family so family will usually pick them up from the airport, but they'll still want a vehicle so they aren't relying on their family all the time

I’ve thought about this as well.
In a similar situation as you. I have a 2021 Model 3 Long-Range.
I’m in a fully remote position now. It’s still my primary vehicle but I don’t drive often. I don’t want to sell it because I love the car and still use it.
But I certainly could benefit from renting it out a few days here and there and it wouldn’t really inconvenience me

Or you could sell it for what, like $40k-$45k right now and get that in cash?
Why run the risk of renting it out with how poorly people treat cars? No way I'd rent my car out to random people unless I bought a car specifically for that - and not one that actually has a lot of value still in it.
If all you want to do is create some passive income from Turo, just buy a cheap economy car and rent it out, those make the best profit margin and it's hard to destroy the value of something that only costs say $5k anyways.
