I have a bunch of $ in a Rollover that I am going to transfer to a Roth eventually but still thinking we see another large leg down this year. Thoughts?

TSLA @ $50
ORGN @ $4
SLI @ $2
But earning 4% risk free in money markets is nothing to sneeze at.

Yes
Never
The stock market is a scam we just didn’t admit it because it went up for 2 years. Idk cash is way cooler because you can always buy some desperate persons stuff for pennies on the dollar and people will be much more desperate here in the next few months
Before y’all judge me for taking advantage of desperate people, think about how y’all put money in the stock market to let plutocrats rug pull you. When you scale it up it’s basically the same thing but y’all are desperate to retire instead of feed your kids or keep the lights on or whatever.
ETA: the Dems will find a way to get rid of y’all’s easy money mutual funds next year

I wish I was a boomer that started investing in 1960 but I didn’t quit the avocado toast and Starbucks until a few years ago so now I have money to invest

I've been waiting since Biden got inaugurated. The shitshow hasn't even really started yet. I expect a 50% retracement.

When everyone thinks the world is ending, that is when you go all in.

This. The masses are usually wrong. But if they are eventually correct, we're all screwed anyway.

Same, I feel the pain hasn't really even been felt and what has, has not even been acknowledged.

Honestly, Cash is burning a hole in my pocket as I’ve been piling for some time. Selling puts and collecting tasty premiums but part of me wants them to be assigned (+300 shares of google atm) - as much as I love investing I’m kind of getting exhausted. Will commandeer wife’s emergency fund that is positioned for WW3 if things get disgusting to buy more. If things get drastically worse from there, as all money is ours until it comes from her account, I will fake my death and disappear into south East Asia and she will prosper down the road.. hopefully

I’ve got some dry powder
S&P earnings are projected in a range from $200 to $220 for FY 2023 so with a historical normal PE of 17.5, that puts fair value between 3500 and 3850.
We’re at 3,780 now and selling pressure is there so if we test 3500, I’m probably going to be buying the spy.

43 years old 30% fixed income
Feels like I have dry powder but maybe 70-30 is right asset allocation?

First of the year I may nibble a little, but waiting on S&P 3300 before I go "All in".
It might not get that low, but that's why I want to start nibbling, but there is a 90-100% chance we aren't at the bottom because we haven't seen capitulation. But, I would hate to be wrong.
I have 60% cash in trading account (want more COST, UPRO, TQQQ and SOXL), 100% cash in TSP account (In G and will move back to S Fund) and 95% cash in TA Roth 401K (VGIAX & VVIAX)

We haven’t had a truly panicked sell off yet. We need to flush a lot out of this thing and a VIX spike with a massive downturn needs to happen.
